"Hi. I'm Quetzal Tirado and after agreeing with the person running this page, we decided I'd write this description. I'm a 22 year old Hungarian trans woman, which is relevant information to this album. These works, all solos, are what I've been working on as a self-titled release this last year, since I was finished with Eseménysorozat. They are all, in some way, conjurations of my love for these instruments and their techniques, my devotion to God and my proclamation of my identity. I want you to enjoy them not necessarily as an album but a collection of my growing fondness for solo improvisation and my ideas in their most unshackled form. If you choose to, you can listen to it in one sitting but don't feel obligated, take it as you find it to be comfortable and enjoyable. I would also like to urge you, if any of these performances are inspiring to you, play over them. Perform with me. If you record it, send it to me! I will include an email in the next paragraph.

With that out of the way, at the moment of publication, this release is my pride and joy. Some of these performances are among the best I've ever played, let alone recorded. Last thing I wanted to mention: the 12 dollar price tag is if you want support me really bad, or you have heard these solos and want a copy all of your own. If you want them in good quality but don't want to spend the money for any reason, just send me an email at nightcollectors.crew@gmail.com and I will send you a link.

Thank you for taking the time to read my words and for allowing my music to enter your life. I love you, and you have my eternal gratitude. I'd like to sign off with a quote that was part of my modus operandi for this release: Repetition legitimizes. For some reason I attribute that quote to Derek Bailey."

"P.S. I've edited the album cover before release and thanks to an idea given by a friend, I decided to credit the birds and the children whose music you can occasionally hear in the background during some of my solos. I consider those integral parts of the performances, as I enjoy recording in places where such little interruptions might occur."
