about

A short reprieve from Quetzal Tirado's Free Music Duets saga leads us to Eseménysorozat, a spiritual successor to last year's Sketches of Mythos with the return of the overdubbed improvisations of the former but with improved recording quality and a more concise view of the project.

"This year has been hard. This is a record of grieving, grieving for my friends, my relationships and a lot of the hardships I've endured. All of these events and interludes are allusions to things that happened to me this year, some more obvious, some less so. Event 4 is a tribute to one of my best friends, who tragically passed away earlier this year, 3 is a tribute to the longest relationship I've had, and other such things that I've lived through and survived by my faith. I hope that through listening to these you get to know me a little better.

Additional notes: The cover art is a digitization of a self-portrait I drew earlier this year, done by my friend Itzel. The events themselves were recorded throughout the year whenever I most needed to document my thoughts and feelings."
