The first all-new project under the moniker of Free Music Duets arrives from Quetzal Tirado with the help of Paul* Hermansen, a German composer and free improviser. The two of them create duo improvisations with an eerie, ghostly sound, at times reminiscent of the work of European musicians in the 70s, but other times new and exciting approaches to the sound.
These songs were all recorded from December of 2020 to January of 2021 and are reflections on the styles of both musicians, experiments of a spiritual nature with reeds, guitar, keys and even some electronics. We hope you enjoy it.
